Last Thursday a friend of mine gave me a letter that I had written to myself about two years ago.
First of all, I can't believe that people were friends with me, or even liked to talk to me. I was a horrendous nut job, but I must've been a likable horrendous nut job. :D
Second, as I read through that letter, I realized that EVERYTHING I had written down, everything that I had wanted to improve or change, had become a reality! SO COOL!
So, this blog post is a testimony of the strength and power that comes when you write things down and set goals. Even if you are a nut job...
Have a yourself a fantastic little Sunday!

The Author Of Our Salvation
Alright! So, last Saturday and Sunday, was the 184th Semi-Annual General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (That was a mouthful. :) ) It was SO powerful and I seriously loved it.
So, for thought number one, we have the fact that one of Christ's names is the "Author of Our Salvation"
For those of you that know me, you can probably see why this hit me so hard. For those of you that don't, you have to understand that I am an author. I absolutely love writing, and have ever since I was at least 7 years old. Having Christ called the AUTHOR, of our salvation... man. So cool.
You know, sometimes we hate authors, and the horrible things they do to their beautiful (sometimes gorgeous) characters. But, we don't have to worry about feeling that way toward Christ. If anyone will give us a happy ending, Christ will. If there is anyone's hands that we should put our faith into, they are Christ's hands. We don't need to worry that he'll suddenly throw a plot twist into our lives that breaks us. We know that if we follow his guidelines, if we push through the smaller things, then in the end, we will be happy.
That's not to say that we won't have trials/plot twists in our lives, because we will. But there won't be any that we can't handle. There won't be plot twists that are there just for the sake of being there. Every single one of them will help us grow and bring us closer to Eternal Happiness.
That's pretty much the most memorable thought I had, and it made me way happy. :D
Have an awesome day!

#CrazyRainingTripThatWasStillAmazing
I went to Jackson Hole Wyoming, and Yellowstone last weekend and loved it! The first two days it was raining like CRAZY, so we pretty much stayed inside and watched movies for two days straight.
But! Huzzah, huzzah! The last day it stopped raining at least for a little bit so that we could enjoy the beauty around us. The cool thing though, is that right after we left the park, it started raining again. Cool little miracle, eh?
Any who, I wanted to share some pictures! I don't have very many because it was raining, but the ones I did get were pretty great!

And that's it for this trip! But I'll see you next time on Life (Diners...) is Just (Drive ins...) One Big Dance! (And Dives!)
Ladies and Gents, if you got that reference, you are officially awesome.

Flaming Gorge Wyoming!
I went to flaming gorge this past week! It was so much fun! Even if I did find out that Flaming Gorge isn't just in Wyoming, it's also in Utah.
The sunset Saturday night was literally breathtaking.
I also discovered that I ADORE the old towns in Wyoming. They have SO much charm and are just wonderful! I may have to live in one when I'm an old geezer.
Oh yeah, and did I mention the sunset Friday night? It was gorgeous too.
Okay, now these next 5 are from a beautiful little town in Wyoming, called Mountainview. See why I love it? :D
And to finish it off, the countryside graces us with it's beauty.
And, that's my trip in a nutshell. Although there aren't any pictures of boating/tubing, but hey, who wants to see that anyway. :)
Peace out homies!

Near death experience.
I just had a near death experience children. I tripped on a garbage bag while eating lunch, and almost jammed a fork into my throat. It was a little too close.
I don't know why it affected me like it did, but it made me realize that life really is a fragile thing. I mean, honestly, if someone can trip on a garbage bag and almost die by wrath-of-fork, it wouldn't take much for our lives to be over. So make sure to always be living life to the fullest!

To those that may not know how much they mean to me.
So, this blog post I must give all the creative credit, and the idea to do it, to Jenny Pachev. Without whom, it wouldn't exist. :D
A few of my very most especial people, and biggest heroes.
1. Haley Brooksby
Haley is the sweetest, most selfless girl I have ever met. She's so kind to her autistic brother. She plays with him, teaches him, is patient with him. She is humble, smart, funny. She honestly cares about everyone. She'll laugh at your joke even if it's not funny. Assumes the good before the bad. Very nonjudgmental. Haley is my hero, and I seriously look up to her.
2. Andrea Bytheway
I don't know her that well yet, but I love her. She always treats me like an equal, even though she's about ten years older than me. She's lighthearted, fun, and kind. She's one of the people that will stop you in the hall and say hi, ask how your days been, and make you feel appreciated and loved. I want to be like that.
3. Melissa Price
Mama Price expects from you what she knows you can give, even if you think you're already giving your all. She's fun, and loves to party, but keeps us crazy kids in line. She pushes us to be the best. As I've come to know her, she treats me as an equal. She respects me for who I am.
4. Tanner Brooksby
Even after months of not seeing someone, this kid is still friends with them and is always inviting. He is devoted and kind to his family, works hard, and dreams high. He is always looking to see when someone needs a special word of encouragement. He is completely trustworthy, and wants to learn everything he can. And that's something that I can admire.
5. Brittany Keys
Sister Keys, will always be one of my role models. I'm planning on naming one of my girls Brittany in fact. The reason, is her devotion to us girls, the time she puts into making us feel loved, and the great feeling of acceptance I personally felt from her. She was always thoughtful, followed the rules while still having fun, and was very spiritually minded.
6. Brother Snow
Brother Snow is a temple worker that I met once when I was doing baptisms. He is so sweet. The first time I met him, he told me I was beautiful. He's funny, caring, and he waves to me every time I go. All in all, he makes me feel very loved.
7. Whitney Boyle
Whitney is such a wonderful person. For one thing, she's the only one that's as geeky as me about books. :) Besides that, I can talk to her for hours, we share the same interests. She is humble, she works hard at her studies and family relationships, and she is the most loyal friend anyone could ask for.
8. Chris and Marie Bross

8. Chris and Marie Bross
Brother and Sister Bross are two of the most amazing people I know. You can just tell they were meant to be together. They are ever so humble, and yet ever so incredible. To Linley, their little girl, they seem to me, the perfect parents.
They're patient and kind, and at the same time, they're firm and they follow through.
They go on dates every Friday, and always make time for each other no matter what's going on in their busy lives.
9. Lindsey Edgecomb
Lindsey is a phenomenal natural leader, loyal friend, and loving sister. She's not afraid to be who she is, and she is always there for me when I need her. If ever I need a friend, I can turn to her. She is funny, beautiful, friendly, and always including.
10. Kayden Robinson
Kayden's work ethic and commitment to his studies is extremely impressive. I've always wanted to be as hard working and dedicated as I know I could be, and Kayden is my model for that. Thanks. :)
11. Hailey Merritt
Well, to say the least, Hailey has been a huge blessing in my life. She has always been inviting to me, kind to me, and has made going to church and mutual worthwhile. She is always there to listen to me, and when others need to talk she's there for them. She's bright and happy, caring and funny, and she can always find a way to make me laugh.
12. Brinnley Johnson
Brinnley is incredibly talented at ballroom, fantabulous in fact. I really admire that she keeps her standards high in her dress choices, in her move choices, and her language. And she still makes finals! She works very hard, and I've never heard her say something mean about anyone. She's fun to be around, and is very encouraging.
And that's all for now! Please remember that if you are not on this list, it is just temporary, and mostly for the people that might not know how much they mean to me.
